Biography
Currently she is serving as Principal I/C at Sri Balaji Society’s Balaji Law College, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. She is a Doctorate in Law, her Ph.D is on the topic ‘Gender-neutral law with special reference to male rape victims in India: An analysis’. Her area of interest is Criminal Law, she has done B.S.L.LL.B from I.L.S Law.
College and LL.M in Criminal Law and Business law from Pune University and pursued Ph.D. in Criminal Law from Ajinkya D.Y.Patil University, Pune. She has served as Assistant Professor in various reputed colleges in Pune including I.L.S Law College. She has published various International and National research papers in several reputed journals on various legal issues. Her multiple publications on various legal issues underscore her active involvement in contributing to academic discourse. In addition to her teaching role, Dr. Avhad is instrumental in guiding students, offering valuable insights and mentoring them.
